Hi, I’m Andy. I’ve been playing keyboards since I heard Made In Japan by Deep Purple, back when I was 13.
I’ve been playing in bands seriously for over 15 years, and less seriously since before then.
Besides keyboards and synths, I like cats, thunderstorms, Atari ST’s, vinyl albums, real ales and single malts.
I live in the north of England, near Leeds, with my fiancee, Jodi.
My favourite keyboard players are:
Jon Lord & Keith Emerson.
Honourable mentions (in no particular order) to: Colin Towns | George Duke | Don Airey | Graham Field | Tom Szakaly | Graham Bond | Tony Kaye | Jimmy McGriff | Tony Ashton | Paolo ‘Apollo’ Negri
The last time I thought about it, my Top 10 albums were:
1 – Fireball (1971) by Deep Purple
2 – Black Sabbath (1970) by Black Sabbath
3 – Triumph and Agony (1987) by Warlock
4 – Variations (1978) by Andrew Lloyd Webber
